Starting May 2021, Hydro Ottawa will be adding a fourth transformer to its existing Limebank station in order to bring Gloucester-South Nepean additional supply from the provincial grid. Once complete, the upgrades will improve the overall safety and reliability of the electricity distribution system in this growing area.
Affected streets: Limebank Road and Cooks Mill Crescent
Residents and businesses may notice increased construction presence throughout the duration of the project, including excavation activities and construction vehicles. Traffic control will be implemented when required to ensure that roads and driveways remain accessible and safe to residents.
Planned power interruptions are not expected to occur as a result of this project, and our qualified staff and contractors will conduct this work safely and efficiently, ensuring that any inconvenience is minimal.
