We help contractors and developers plan and build electrical services for new, upgraded or retrofitted projects. Our team can support you to ensure your designs meet our Conditions of Service as well as Ontario Energy Board regulations and CSA Group safety standards.

We provide designs and cost estimates for:
- Commercial and residential infill projects with an annual electricity demand less than or equal to 50 kW
- New or upgraded residential electric vehicle (EV) chargers
- Electrical disconnects and reconnects
- Removal of electrical service
- Minor overhead or underground plant reconfigurations and extensions
- Support for hydro poles during excavation projects
- Field review of third-party attachments to hydro poles
- Review and resolution of line clearance issues
To request a customer layout, complete an electrical service request.
We provide design and project management services for:
- New commercial services and upgrades for projects with an annual electricity demand of more than 50 kW
- Commercial primary pad-mounted transformers and vault services
- Commercial EV chargers
- Transformer vault rehabilitations
- Metering for new and retrofit projects, including unit and glass metering
- Design services for complex campuses and high-voltage loops

For commercial EV chargers, submit an EV Preliminary Consultation Information Request (EVPCIR) form.
We provide design and project management services for:
- Projects of five or more units/homes with a required amperage of 100, 200, 400 or 600 amps at 120/240V
- Residential underground subdivisions
- Private residential sites

We support:
- New construction, rehabilitation and relocation of overhead and underground trunk infrastructure
- Third-party underground civil and cable relocations
- Underground sustainment projects, including support for new and rebuilt substations
- Heavy civil infrastructure
- Maintenance hole (manhole) rebuilds
- Third-party overhead line relocations
- Overhead sustainment projects, including fibre installations
- Cable replacements

Design, project management and interconnection approval for:
- Emergency backup systems (e.g., standby generators)
- Net metering installations (e.g., solar panels)
- Load displacement systems
- Stand-alone generation projects
