Moving to a new location

If you’re moving, fill out a Moving request form.

Customer service

Call us at (613) 738-6400. You can reach us weekdays, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We’re closed on statutory holidays.

If you use MyAccount, you can access our live chat service. It’s available weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding statutory holidays. 

Report a power outage
  1. Online through MyAccount. You don’t need to be a Hydro Ottawa customer — all you need is a valid email address to sign up. 

  2. Through the Hydro Ottawa app 

  3. Text "OUT" to PWROUT (797688).

  4. Call our 24/7 outage line at (613) 738-0188.

If you’re reporting a dangerous or life-threatening situation, please call 9-1-1 immediately.
