Sponsorships and donations

Our commitment to our community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that by working together, we can power a brighter future for everyone. Through our Community Investment Program, we provide financial support and in-kind contributions to local organizations that want to make a lasting, positive impact.

We’re always looking for opportunities to support community initiatives that align with our vision for a strong, healthy, sustainable city. If your organization is working to make a difference, we want to hear from you.

Power for Good

To make the greatest impact, we channel our sponsorships and donations into four key areas. We look for partners whose work is creating meaningful change in.

We believe everyone in our community deserves to thrive. We partner with organizations addressing critical, immediate challenges such as food and housing security, mental health promotion, and essential support for vulnerable children and youth.

Does your organization qualify for funding and support?

We want to build authentic partnerships that benefit the communities we serve. Before applying to our Community Investment Program, please review our guidelines to see if you’re a good fit.

In particular, we look for initiatives that:

Serve our communities

Your initiative must directly benefit the people living in our service territory.

Align with our focus

Your project must clearly connect to one of the priority areas listed above. Our strong focus on sustainability means we prefer to support established programs. However, standalone events may also be considered.

Offer partnership opportunities

We love to get our employees involved, so we prioritize initiatives that offer volunteer opportunities for our team.

Are independent

Your project must not be primarily branded or sponsored by another corporation.

We are unable to support:

  • Individuals and families
  • Groups that are not registered charities with the Canada Revenue Agency
  • Sports teams or sporting events, including golf tournaments
  • Lobbying or advocacy organizations
  • Organizations with religious or political affiliations
  • Commercial and/or third-party fundraising initiatives
  • Organizations that have already received support from us in the same calendar year
  • Galas or other social events

Meeting these requirements is the first step, but it doesn't guarantee funding. We carefully review all requests to ensure they align with our strategic community goals.
