EB-2014-0085: Hydro Ottawa Limited filed an application with the Ontario Energy Board on August 13th, 2014 under section 78 of the Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998, S.O. 1998, c.15 (Schedule B), seeking approval to change the rates that Hydro Ottawa charges for electricity distribution, to be effective January 1, 2015.
In that application, the total bill will increase by 1.22% or $1.58 per month for a typical residential customer (consumption of 800 kWh per month). For a small business (general services) customer consuming 2,000 kWh per month having a demand of less than 50 kW the increase will be $4.06 per month.
This application reflects major Hydro Ottawa business priorities which include:
- Continuing to invest in our infrastructure to keep our service reliable; and
