Not only does Hydro Ottawa give back at a corporate level, we also recognize how important it is to give back as an individual. It is not always easy to find time to give back to the community between family and work commitments – although many of our employees do.
That is why we created the “ Hydro Ottawa Employee Volunteer Day,” to give employees the opportunity to volunteer one day annually during the work week with any registered charity. Many of the organizations our employees support have similar priority areas that align with Hydro Ottawa’s Community Investment Program, including: education/capacity building; renewable energy, energy efficiency and conservation; and health, safety and wellness.
