The Government of Ontario is providing support for residential, small business and registered charity customers who have fallen behind on their energy bills as a result of COVID-19.

The provincial government has announced additional funding to the COVID-19 Energy Assistance programs for residential and small business customers. Hydro Ottawa and other utilities across the province will continue to offer CEAP and CEAP-SB in 2021, or until all funds have been exhausted.
Scam Alert: Hydro Ottawa is aware that some customers are receiving calls telling them that a home or business inspection is required in order to receive financial relief through the CEAP programs. This is not true. Inspections are not required to qualify for either residential or small business programs.
