As a critical and essential service for the residents and businesses of the Nation’s Capital and village of Casselman, we want to reassure you that we remain vigilant and focused on ensuring the electricity system remains stable and that you have the power you need. During this time, we are focused on essential services and have suspended all non-critical planned work and planned outage disruptions in all neighbourhoods for our customers.
At Hydro Ottawa we are offering financial assistance programs to provide emergency relief if needed, and extending the provincial government’s disconnection ban by an additional three months. We are also offering additional time and interest-free payment arrangements on arrears so that you can focus on being safe and ensuring your family and loved ones are safe.
